LABORATORY SERVICES

The laboratory at Frankfort Regional Medical Center is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and staffed with phlebotomists and medical technologists offering to serve our patients and physicians 24 hours/day 7 days a week.  Our laboratory has up-to-date technology and provides an extensive list of tests.  Reference testing is routinely performed at LabCorp.

Our Pathology department is staffed with histo-technologists Monday through Friday during most business hours. We have a full time pathologist on staff. A rotating call schedule of pathologists is provided by Pathology and Cytology Labs, Inc. for after hours needs. Reference pathology testing is provided from Pathology and Cytology Labs, LabCorp and Vanderbilt.

On-site registration is available at the laboratory for patients during outpatient operating hours.

Please note that specimens requested to be delivered to the lab are required to be registered, and cannot be dropped off without registration. 

Hours of operation (Outpatient): Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Closed on holidays.
