COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Frankfort Regional Medical Center has been an integral part of the community in Franklin, Anderson and surrounding counties. As one of Franklin County's largest employers, Frankfort Regional Medical Center plays a vital economic role in the community, providing close to 600 jobs and an outstanding quality of life for its employees.  Nearly 200 of the areas finest physicians practice at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, along with 460 experienced registered nurses and highly trained clinical staff, providing compassionate, cost-effective health care to the community.

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is also involved in various aspects of the community, supporting local and national non-profit organizations such as American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, March of Dimes, Relay for Life, and the United Way, along with many others.  Not only do they give of their financial resources, but Frankfort Regional employees are also very active in these community organizations - as volunteers and serving on the boards of these agencies.

Dedicated to improving healthcare in Central Kentucky, Frankfort Regional Medical Center offers much in the way of education and support to the community.  Support groups are held regularly, as well as free classes to prepare patients for childbirth, and various other health related issues. Frankfort Regional employees can often be found on site at local employers participating in health fairs and providing multiple health screenings.
